(Washington, D.C.) – “Today, we honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I can think of no better tribute to the memory of one of the globe’s greatest civil rights leaders than a day of service.

“Dr. King’s life work was dedicated to equality and social justice, and to ensuring that the promise of the American dream was available to all regardless of the color of their skin.

“Today, each of us should commit to do something to advance Dr. King’s legacy and build a better America for future generations.”
