Former Rep. Thomas M. Davis III, R-Va. (1995-2008), has been elected president of the board of directors and chief executive of the Republican Main Street Partnership. While in Congress, Davis served as chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. He was also previously chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. He succeeds former Rep. Charles Bass, R-N.H. (1995-2007).
