  • RMSP Launches $600,000 Digital Ad Campaign in New York Highlighting SALT Relief Efforts

Washington, D.C.  — The Republican Main Street Partnership (RMSP) today announced a $600,000 digital advertising campaign across New York’s 1st, 2nd, and 17th Congressional Districts thanking Representatives Mike Lawler, Andrew Garbarino, and Nick LaLota for their leadership in successfully raising the State and Local Tax (SALT) cap. The campaign will run across a mix of digital platforms and directly engage constituents in the Hudson Valley and Long Island, highlighting the Members’ work to deliver meaningful tax relief for middle-class families and homeowners. “Main Street Republicans are focused on delivering real results, and this is exactly what that looks like,” said RMSP President & CEO Sarah Chamberlain. “Representatives Lawler, Garbarino, and LaLota fought to raise the SALT cap and provide long-overdue relief for families facing high costs in New York.” The ads highlight the Members’ role in getting the SALT cap increased, helping restore fairness in the tax code, and putting more money back into the pockets of hardworking New Yorkers. Watch the Ads: NY-01 (Rep. Nick LaLota) NY-02 (Rep. Andrew Garbarino) NY-17 (Rep. Mike Lawler) This six-figure investment is part of RMSP’s broader effort to highlight commonsense, results-driven policymaking that directly impacts American families. By focusing on affordability and tax relief, RMSP is continuing to elevate the voices of pragmatic leaders delivering for their districts.

The pragmatist GOP Main Street Caucus is taking a formal stance, endorsing Mullin on Monday, as well as backing a targeted crackdown on illegal immigrant criminals in the U.S. It's a rare formal statement by the House Republican group, led by both Chairman Mike Flood, R-Neb., and Rep. Nick LaLota, R-N.Y., and signed by 47 other GOP lawmakers. "Senator Mullin has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to border security. His familiarity with the legislative process and his longstanding support for pro-America policies make him well-suited to lead DHS at this critical moment," the letter said. "We are confident he will bring the focus and discipline necessary to further our shared priorities." ... The Main Street Caucus letter revealed that more than two dozen lawmakers in the group met with Trump's Homan last week while praising his handling of immigration enforcement across the country.
